did you see that am moon?
the day started out the same old way
a cup of coffee the news of the day
the weather man told me is was cold as sin
anyone aged should not venture out but stay in
a crash, a house burnt, a fratured soul
too many lost, the war has it's toll
I head down the road, the same old way
the traffic was light maybe it will be a good day
the radio is silenced, the cell phone is it's tray
off to work to earn my pay
off in the distance, a glimmer of light
a sliver of the moon, what a delight
a vertical smile,a remarkable sight
everything seemed to be just right...
