Astico Park-Dodge County
In the Fall of 2005 my wife , Kobie(golden) and I camped in Astico Park. This park is located in Dodge county.
There are some very nice campsites in this park with quite a few located directly on the banks of the Crawfish river.It was the perfect setting for a fall campout and the scenery was wonderful.The only draw back is the showers as well as the bathrooms desperatly need to be upgraded!
This park is situated very close to the Horicon Marsh, some call it the Grand Canyon of the Midwest. If you have not seen the Great Horicon Marsh, it is a must see. There is a national park which provides a close-up view of the Marsh and Wisconsin state park that provides a panoramic view of the marsh. There are many trails to explore. Check out the website as there is much more in this county to see and do.
