Be a Bunny Hero!
Be a Bunny Hero!
The bunnies are all looking for good homes. And many different types of homes!
Some are Feral Bunnies: These rabbits are looking for spacious, protected back yards to live in. Adopt a group up to ten, and Best Friends will be happy to guide you through the process of setting up your yard to be a happy bunny habitat for them.
The feral rabbits are fluffy and cute. They're domestic by breed, so they can't survive in the real wild. They need your love and care. Food, vets – you know the drill! But they've spent their whole lives in this crazy, outdoor situation with very little human contact. So the complex world of outdoor bunny culture is all they know, and they wouldn't be happy indoors as regular pets.
But that doesn't mean you won't enjoy them! Some of the brave ones will already take a treat from your hand – they'll even stand on their hind legs while they munch! So cute! In time, they may come to be your friend. It will be a little different from your friendship with a regular pet. Their first loves will always be one another, and their own rabbit community that you're making possible for them. But that doesn't mean they won't come to love you! Why wouldn't they? You've saved their lives!
Indoor Bunnies: Baby rabbits being born right now can still be turned into house rabbits! And that, of course, is the safest way for a pet rabbit to live. As soon as they're big enough to be spayed or neutered, they'll be looking for terrific indoor homes as part of the family!
If you'd like to adopt either kind of bunny, we'll arrange a home visit so we can show you just how to get ready for your new additions. And we'll even talk to your veterinarian for you.
All of these rabbits will be spayed and neutered before they come to you!
Are you ready for some new rabbit friends :?:
