MANITOWOC — Horse-a-Rama, which draws more than 1,000 people annually to the Manitowoc County Expo, will be held April 8-9, it was announced today.
Kathleen Galas, president of the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, said the organization is working with coordinator Gloria Schaut on arrangements for the show and hosting visitors, who often come from the Milwaukee, Chicago and central Wisconsin areas.
Horse-a-Rama features clinics from professional trainers, including TV personality Richard Shrake. Activities include raffles, vendors, photo contests, free pony rides, wagon rides and a silent auction.
Admission is set at $5 per day or $8 for the entire weekend. Children under 6 are free, and daily bus passes are $125.
