The wife and I just talked about this. AJE (Amber) had some good answers. Others, loud wind chimes. Remove all sources of food (garbage, bird food, etc.). Blast noise out a window when they're around. If DNR won't help, or just expects you to pay someone to tranquilize and move them, try local police. The removed a crazy woodchuck from our property once. The thing was fearless and acting looney, and we had small kids around. Good luck and let us know how this turns out.
