The Black River has many huge sandbars during normal depth. You will see many forms of wildlife: deer, fish, cranes and beaver. Large rock bluffs line the banks in many areas. The Black River was one of three rivers chosen in Wisconsin by National Geographic as being wild and scenic!
Rental includes a 17 foot canoe, paddles, jackets, and transportation. Choose an 11 mile, 22 mile or 33 mile trip. Canoe for the day or camp on a sandbar for one or two nights. Depart on a shuttle between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, and return at your leisure.
