Dunn Lake Info
Dunn Lake can be fished quite successfully for Bass, Northerns and Walleyes, along with Crappies. There’s nice cabbage off the east-side point, which holds Walleyes and Crappies. Fish jig/minnow combinations for both species, or cast the weed edge with spoons for Northerns. Walleyes also can be found off the sand point on the northeast. Crankbaits work well here. Crappies are principally found in the northwest bay where they hang around the downed trees. Twistertails work well here. You can also find Walleyes in the bay occasionally. Northerns, meanwhile, will be found on the west side of the lake, just north of the narrows. Spoons and spinnerbaits usually get some action here. Public access is on south shore. A resort with rental boats also serves Dunn Lake.
