Groups offer reward in Green Bay goose killing case
GREEN BAY, Wis. Two groups are offering a reward in an animal cruelty case in Green Bay.
Someone taped explosives to a Canada goose and ignited them, killing the bird.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and the Humane Society are offering a total of three-thousand-500 dollars for information leading to the conviction of whoever killed the goose in December.
Police are investigating it as a case of cruelty to animals, a charge carrying a maximum penalty of more than three years in prison and a ten-thousand-dollar fine.
