I woke up on halloween to my Mother screaming out of her mind, it was so horrid I layed there for a second waiting to realize it was just a dream like usual, but when I realized I was awake I jumped up scared and crying trying to find my mother because I knew it had to be that someone in our family must of died..and my mother comes running out of the hallway waving her hands and screaming dad is dead!
She just thought he had slept in so when she went to wake him he rolled out of the bed dead.
and I ran in there having just woke up to see my father on the ground, white and stiff..dead on halloween at only the age of 59.
and there were no signs no warnings or health problems, the night before he was the happiest I ever saw him and then just like that He was gone, but he had a peaceful look on him and the ambulance came and they agreed that he just died in his sleep because there was no signs of struggle...but I just feel I need to share about My Father and how important is the life we have and who we -know- and what we do.... my brother after coming and taking us from the house and seeing his Father dead, that night he went to bed and woke up and saw clouds in his apartment and he woke his friend up and said " look tim do you see the clouds?" and tim responded " don't you know what that is, thats God's glory."..and if you look in the bible at times clouds did resemble God's glory..anyway my brother felt in that moment as he saw into the spirit that it was like a open line for him to tell dad what he needed to say, that God gave him that opportunity to do it right then, so my brother Joel poured his heart out to my Father..and I believe my dad was there with Jesus hearing what my brother said and I believe he is checking in on us all the time from what some verses say in the bible, about how in heaven there is a gallery where the saints cheer on their loved ones who are still on earth and how they get rewarded for what good things their kids do because its their legacy left behind so they can watch their kids and Family on earth and see how they are doing......So I believe My Father is looking in on us right now and was watching us at the funeral too.....His funeral was so awesome too it was a celebration, so many people were so suprised because they never been to a funeral where you left feeling lifted up because we praised God in this service and shouted for Joy because my dad got to go to Heaven! and not hell!..and the two most important things my Dad wanted was for his kids to know Jesus which we do, but also his siblings as well, so he would talk to them about God and some got saved, but some held out, but at dad's funeral many members of his family raised their hands when my brother the pastor asked who would like to give their life to Jesus! and I believe dad stood there rejoicing right along with us.
My dad worked so hard to provide for his five kids, over thirty years on roofs that there was no reward that would equal what He did for us except to get to go to heaven which came true on halloween and although it feels like there is a void now because its not just "one" person gone, dad had such a huge personality and was a daddy to everyone, He was Mr hugs lol... he had more love then 100's of people put together and he liked the quote " Any man can be a father, but it takes a Special man to be a Daddy." And my Daddy was truly a Special Man, A -Real- Man..and hes not gone, hes just changed addresses, from earth
to heaven, a better location. And I'll see him again and when I do it will be for, forever.
At His funeral We sang the song, " Oh happy day when Jesus washed my sins away" because dad always used to tell me how when he used to sit in bars and get drunk and on the radio the song Oh happy day would come on and hed be drinkin and singing " when Jesus washed my sins away" and He said he had no clue what he was singing about he just liked the song, but he thought it was funny looking back because it was like he was prophesying his own salvation in..because eventually he became saved, he gave his life over to Jesus and found out what that song was all about and that day was truly a happy day.
....Also If you could pray for our family that would be great and also
We don't have life insurance we just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly we had been thinking about getting it though, so yes your prayers would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
and remember..my dad was gone in a heartbeat, just like that without any warning he was in eternity...thankfully he is in heaven...don't miss it...and if you had no proof to -you- to believe then just believe anyway because of the fact that atleast you have nothing to "risk" this way but something good possibly to gain..where as if you chose not to give your life to Jesus you risk everything...but i Assure you, if you ask Jesus into your heart and believe He is the son of God and did die and rise again for your sins so you could be with your Father in heaven some day..if you believe that, if you choose Jesus and repent of your sins...thats it, your saved from hell and bound for heaven, you have nothing to risk and everything good to gain.
God will begin to reveal himself to you the closer you get to him by reading and just talking to him...and if you mess up, your not going to hell..you just simply say " Father forgive me " and just like that your forgiven and the bible says he remembers your sin no more, so that also means you dont need to carry any guilt about any sin you ever commit because you said you were sorry you changed your ways and so the sin is washed in the blood of Jesus, so if God can forgive you...you can also forgive yourself.....so choose Jesus today..you only have everything -good- to gain.
