Dells TimberLand Campground
Dells TimberLand is a family owned and operated campground in the Wisconsin Dells area of south central Wisconsin. The campground is conveniently located on Hwy 12, approximately four miles North of the City of Wisconsin Dells, and one half mile West of the Wisconsin River. Dells TimberLand was built in approximately 1965 so it has a long history in the Wisconsin Dells area. Over the years, some families have created a tradition of camping at Dells TimberLand spanning three generations.
Dells TimberLand is a family-oriented campground and we pride ourselves on our clean, modern facilities and friendly atmosphere. We have a mixture of campsites ranging from grassy to wooded and primitive to full hookup with 50 amp. electric, sewer and internet access. We have a full choice of facilities and many planned activities. Our Recreation Hall features a Movie Room, Game Room and Family Room with couches and a circular fireplace. Outside we have a heated 60-foot pool and a large deck with community fire ring. Our 50-foot circus tent with seating for 140 is used for activities like Christmas in July, Potluck Dinners, Dances and Family Reunions. We have half court Basketball, Volleyball, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes, a small Mini-Golf course and Playground featuring a 27-foot Sandbox. It is our goal at Dells TimberLand to pack value into our offerings for families. Our clean and friendly campground is a place to make fond memories with family and friends, one campfire at a time.
At Dells TimberLand, we strive to provide a place for families to spend quality time together. Some families will choose to spend their day in Wisconsin Dells at the water parks or sight seeing. Some will choose to stay here and participate in the free activities we provide. Others take advantage of a combination of both, spending the day in Wisconsin Dells or on the Wisconsin River, then coming back for our free Hay Rides and Movies. Regardless of where our guests are spending their time, it is our mission to help them make the most of their time together.
Camping is an experience rather than just a place to stay. Camping, unlike other lodging, is not just a place to sleep. It is a shared experience with a sense of community. When most people walk down a road in a campground they will say, "Hi!" to their neighbor and strike up a conversation, or invite them to share a campfire. In contrast to other types of lodging, camping is the friendly choice.
