Good schools.
Good mix of economy. Strong business climate; lack of bad debt (best in the country).
Four seasons (if you like that!)
Clean state, green state.
Good people, strong work ethic and strong community values; not terribly transient...roots.
Strong urban, urbane and rural mixes.
Our lakes! (We have 15,000, more than the Land of 10,000 Lakes!)
For me - it's home.
Used to be able to say more: exemplary government. Still, a fairly progressive state. We do our share and then some for the republic.
