Wildman Whitewater Ranch has state of the art "self bailing" multi-person rafts, single person Thrill Cats and Fun Yaks for all types of river conditions. Our shuttle bus takes you upstream of the ranch to the "put in" where you will experience all of the whitewater action of the famous "ROARING RAPIDS" of the Peshtigo River. This is the longest continuous stretch of rapids in the Midwest. You will ride many class lll rapids with names like Five Foot Falls, Toothache and Veg-O-Matic.
The Ranch has PRIVATE ACCESS to one mile of river frontage along the rapids. This means that you can hike and scout the rapids before you go rafting. We are the only outfitter that can give you the choice to portage and rerun the most exciting rapids with out trespassing onto private property. Our lightweight Thrillcats makes this an easy effort. During summer periods of lower water levels you can spend more 'play time' in the rapids and takeout right at the Ranch, avoiding the rocky section downstream. At higher water levels we run the lower scenic float to our boat landing 12 take out.

The Menomine River provides the whitewater enthusiast with some of the LARGEST VOLUME RAPIDS IN THE MIDWEST, and characterisitcs similar to those found on the Colorado River.
Due to the size of these Class IV rapids we run only our 10 person self-bailing rafts with a guide in every boat.
The Menominee is a scenic 45 minute drive from our resort, where you will meet us at our branch office. Changing rooms and Wildman Great Outdoors with ample parking are conveniently located there.
The trip begins along the gorgeous 200 ft. cliffs bordering Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Down river you will encounter the famous rapids of 'Piers Gorge', which we will run two times.
