LaBelle Cemetery Oconomowoc Ghost?
La Belle Cemetery located in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County is location of a granite statute of a young woman standing near a cross. The story is told that sometimes an apparition of the girl is seen walking from the statute and drowning herself in the nearby Lake Fowler. Others have said to have seen her come to life and walk into Lac LaBelle (which is some distance away). It has also been told that the hands on the statue sometimes drip blood.
When visiting the cemetery, one finds the Surname Nathusius carved on the statue. Directly in front of the statue are buried:
Father Carl (1830-1921)
Mother Louise (1832-1917)
Brother Wilhelm (1865-1945)
Daughter Carolina (1865-1952)
