I live in Jackson County, and completely agree with you. Sadly, my own yard is one of those junk filled "eye sores". I have a chronic pain illness and can't do much about it, and my husband and MIL are both serious packrats. Collecting anything they can get their hands on. However, on the days that i feel better, I do my best to get some of the mess cleaned up. Of course there's only so much I can do by myself.
But on behalf of all the junky yards, I apologize for the fact that it does most definitely disrupt the beauty that surrounds us. :-(
