I do discuss politics at work. Here is a blog I had written a few days after the election.

We all have are own opinion. But remember my friends......YOU MUST always fight for what you believe as your values. If your ideas and thoughts have been erased by a negative ....you lost your fight all together. This election is a good example. A president has been chosen against my better judgment. I have only one recourse to this issue. Continue to voice my opinion, read the facts, and always talk about the issue with friends, family, and co-workers even if the ideas we may share are of difference. This is America my friends and if you FAIL to communicate about differences you have lost your right to freedom. The minute you give up your right to this freedom - your thoughts have NO input on the issues.

I do not believe that politics should be discussed with aggression. Opinions should be voiced, but on the other hand you must always listen to the other side before putting up a wall to others viewpoints. I am always open to opinions of others which opens my thoughts to ideas on both viewpoints.
