J.B. set the police chief in a neighboring small town straight.
A man with a permit to own a gun, openly carried a pistol (holstered) through the local Walmart. I happened to be there at the time, and witnessed the incident. I was nearly trampled by the Walmart associates running away from the guy, and some running toward him. The local police arrived with the county S.W.A.T. team. When the police found that they couldn't arrest him for fire arm possession, they cited him with their "catch all" disorderly conduct charge. The man fought it in court, and lost. He then brought the incident to the attention of the Attorney General. All charges were dropped, and the entire police department were reprimanded. The man did not act in a disorderly manner, and was well within his right to openly carry a fire arm.
It just goes to show.....
