CBS new has picked up on the big scandal.
Partial quote:
The irony of this situation is that most of us expect science to be conducted in the open, without unpublished secret data, hidden agendas, and computer programs of dubious reliability. East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit might have avoided this snafu by publicly disclosing as much as possible at every step of the way.

That would have been nice, but not realistic considering their agenda.

With all this controversy, we still get silly stories like this one:
BBC News - Climate 'is a major cause' of conflict in Africa
Are these people that stupid?
First of all, the climate hasn't warmed for 10 years, so by their definition, things should be calm.
Second, maybe they should look at the history of "Africa". The weather has
nothing to do with their conflicts. Besides, "Africa" is a pretty big continent. So that's a pretty generalized statement. But the story is about the area known as
the Sahara Desert. Fact is, the Sahara is shrinking!
The goal is to give them "global warming guilt money" dispersed via the United Nations. In other words, worldwide socialism. This is just more proof that global warming is a tool for the U.N. to get to "global governence". Where do you think you'll end up in this global utopia?
Here's the quote:
At next month's UN climate summit in Copenhagen, governments are due to debate how much money to put into helping African countries prepare for and adapt to impacts of climate change.
